Anime Buddies — Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 15, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Anime Buddies mobile application ("Application"), provided by Brian S Rosales ("Service Provider," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

1. Acceptance of Terms

The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any future amendments.

2. Intellectual Property / Character Ownership

All characters, names, likenesses, artwork, animations, and related content featured within the Application ("Characters") are owned by, or licensed to, the Service Provider. The Service Provider retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Characters and the Application, including all associated copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights, except where expressly licensed to the Service Provider by a third party under a separate agreement.

Use of the Application does not transfer any ownership rights in the Characters or the Application to the user. The Service Provider grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Characters within the Application, for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. This includes non-commercial fan works (such as fan art, fan fiction, or similar personal creative expression) based on the Characters, provided such works are not sold, monetized, or otherwise used for commercial gain. Users may not use the Characters for any commercial purpose, including but not limited to selling merchandise, monetized content, or services derived from the Characters, without the Service Provider's prior written consent.

The Service Provider is not responsible for how any AI-generated or user-directed interaction within the Application portrays or modifies a Character within the bounds of the Application's intended functionality. Use of the Application and any content generated within it is at the user's own discretion, subject to the license restrictions above.

Reporting Misuse: If you believe the Characters or other Application content are being used or reproduced outside the Application without authorization, please contact the Service Provider at Brosales1313@gmail.com.

The Application's widgets are intended for use on the user's mobile device home screen and lock screen. If a widget is displayed through a vehicle's infotainment system, including Apple CarPlay, this occurs at the user's own discretion and risk.

The Service Provider makes no representation regarding the suitability of the Application's widgets for use in a vehicle and assumes no responsibility or liability for any accidents, injuries, property damage, distraction-related incidents, or other harm arising from the display or use of the Application, in any form, while operating a vehicle.

Users are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding distracted driving and mobile device use in their jurisdiction.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Service Provider does not guarantee that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Application, including but not limited to the matters described in Section 3 above.

6. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify users of changes by updating this page. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
